At Funeral Support UK, our mission is to bring peace of mind and financial ease to every member during life’s most difficult moments. We aim to build a strong community of 1,000+ members, united by compassion and mutual support. Once we reach this goal, the contribution per funeral will reduce from £25 to just £15, ensuring that together, we make dignified farewells more affordable for everyone.
Simple Steps to Peace of Mind
Become a Member
Join our community by paying a small annual membership fee of £50. You’ll receive your membership ID and access to all updates and reports.
Death of a Member
When one of our members sadly passes, every active member is notified. Each member then contributes £25 within 30 days to support the deceased member’s family.
For Deaths Outside the UK
If a member passes away outside the UK, each member contributes £10, and the beneficiary will receive a flat £2,000 payment (depending on active members).
Family Support Payment
Once all contributions are received, up to £9,000 (depending on active members) is paid directly to the deceased member’s beneficiary via bank transfer only, ensuring full transparency and accountability.
Fund Management
Our fund is managed transparently by two part-time volunteers who handle membership, records, and funeral claims.
All payments and expenses are recorded and shared with members twice a year.
Fairness & Protection
- Minimum 6 months membership before claiming.
- Death certificates will require verification by the FSUK from the relevant local councils.
- Only UK residents and citizens can apply.
- Members who miss two consecutive funeral contributions will be automatically deactivated (no refunds).
